Back in 1986 Dave Roberts was working at Rochdale Infirmary in the NHS. However, he very quickly decided that he wanted to go it alone. He converted his garage into a treatment area and waiting room, left the NHS, and went for it!
Three years later the old Middleton Co-op came up for sale and with few people willing to back him and interest rates at 15%, he risked everything! The Co-op was painstakingly transformed into a 5 treatment room physiotherapy clinic, fully equipped Physio-Gym, changing rooms and showers.
Much hard work and determination saw further expansion when a dress shop on Broadway was similarly transformed and Dave was joined by Keith Johnstone who moved his family up from London excited by the prospects.
Together they embarked on developing the clinics and the business with their next clinic being in Bolton. Dave and Keith were determined that rather than just rent rooms, they wanted their clinics purpose built to give their patients the very best experience possible. A number of talented and ambitious physiotherapists and allied health professionals have joined them creating a professional, supportive and friendly team environment throughout the business.
