At David Roberts Physiotherapy we follow the belief that we are only as strong as the individuals we employ, below Sam Byrne writes about life working for David Roberts Physiotherapy....
" I came to work for David Roberts Physiotherapy in 2006 from the wild jungles of Bangladesh where I had worked for the national Cricket Board. Being new to Manchester, and in a challenging new role at Lancashire County Cricket Club, I was a little daunted by the move and what lay in front of me.
I needn’t have worried. Before I had even arrived back in the UK, the Business Manager had helped me find somewhere to live and on the first day I arrived I was warmly welcomed by the management and staff. Most importantly, right from the outset I was given the chance to work autonomously and independantly but offered support, advice, and another pair of eyes or ears whenever I needed it. The confidence that having a support network of experienced physio’s around gives you is hard to quantify, but makes doing your job even more rewarding and satisfying.
Since then I have had a hugely challenging, and even more enjoyable time working with DRP. There have been opportunities to work in different fields such as cricket, golf, tennis and the various charitable treks and challenges the company supports, as well as career progression opportunities to work within the management team to shape the future direction and success of the company. No one day at work is the same for me, that’s how I like it. Are you up for the challenge?"
