Andrew Flintoff walking his way back to fitness with Dave Roberts

With Andrew Flintoff having spent so much of his cricket career battling injuries and having relied on Dave and his team at Lancashire to help overcome them, Dave Roberts was the natural choice when Andrew and Rachael were looking to appoint a physiotherapy advisor to their foundation.

After all, the aim of the AF Foundation is to help build new Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation facilities at Alder Hey Children’s Hospital and other children’s hospitals throughout the country.

Andrew Flintoff says:  “ I have had so much rehabilitation during my career with Dave that I understand how important the phsyio and the rehab is in getting me back to full fitness.  I want to help the youngsters of today and tomorrow to have access to the very best we can offer them in their rehabilitation period following illness, injury or surgery – and the money we raise through my Foundation will go directly to achieving that”.
