Day 6 - South Sri Lanka, Tangaulle

Day 6 Sri Lanka Walk (800x534).jpg

The walk moved through Tangaulle, South Sri Lanka today.

At approx 45 degrees today many of the walkers needed Dave and Nick's help. Heat stroke, blisters, shin splints were the order of the day after 40km walking at relentless pace. Dehydration also a major problem.  On the picture above you can see our Dave and Nick along with Beefy, Former Springbok Captain and Laureus Ambassador Morne Du Plessi and a few other likely suspects!

Also on the walk are fellow Laureus Ambassadors and Oz cricket legends Steve Waugh and Allan Border. Ensuring the banter and sledging are of a high standard of course! Below Dave Roberts treats Steve's feet before Day 6.
