Ankle Pain
Ankle pain, foot pain and “lower leg” problems are numerous and vary in nature. We diagnose and treat many problems of this type following thorough examination.

Like the knee joint, the ankle is vulnerable to several types of injury – your ankle pain may be caused by any number of activities from stepping off a kerb, to playing football, cricket, rugby, tennis or any other sporting activity – the ankle takes a great deal of strain and ankle pain is a common problem.
In general the ankle is surrounded by ligaments and tendons – it doesn’t have the luxury of being protected by strong muscles around the joint itself. Hence the familiarity we have with these particular injuries.
If you have hurt your ankle it may swell up, become bruised and painful and you may find it difficult to put weight on it. If this becomes the case then one of our specialists will be more than willing to give you a thorough examination to help determine the cause of your pain. Then we will work towards finding the best treatment possible to get you fit and pain free again.
